How to Make a Present Stack Card #christmas #present #stack #card #papercraft #making #card #easy #beginner

It’s almost that time of year again! Time to get out all your papercraft materials to start preparing your cards ready for C-h-r-i-s-t-m-a-s! Why not ditch the traditional Christmas colours this year and try using some bright, vibrant colours in your designs?

We have an amazing new Papercraft collection, Pa Rom Pa Pom Pom, that certainly ticks all the boxes if your looking for something different! I couldn’t resist having a go with this new collection and have come up with this simple present stack card design that anyone can make. Perfect for creating for craft fairs, for family and friends and much more!

You Will Need Craft Essentials How to Make

1. Select 3 or 4 different patterned christmas papers to create your present stack card.

2. Once selected, cut the pieces of paper into small rectangles, these will create the illusion of different sized presents. You can do this by measuring the card you are using; to then work out how big each present needs to be, or you can do this by eye.

Top Tip!

Using a paper trimmer will save you a lot of time and will also help to cut accurate edges and shapes. You can use scissors to cut out the presents; but make sure to take your time.

3. When you’re happy with the placement of the presents; stick strips of double sided tape to the back of each of them. Double check the placement of the presents and then stick these down to the card.

4. Using embellishments will give dimension to the design of the card. Apply double sided tape to the back of the ribbon. Position the ribbon into the middle of the stack of presents and then stick; ensuring that the edges of the ribbon touch the bottom and top of the presents.

5. Finish of the design of the card with a few more embellishments. Using the ribbon once more, create a little bow that will sit neatly on the top of the presents. Using a Happy Christmas label, which you can stick onto a thin tag for extra effect if you want; stick these to the top present, glue the small bow on top.

Top Tip!

Using a glue gun will make it a lot easier to stick the bow in place.
