How to Make

1. Turn on your glue gun and let it heat up for a few minutes. Grab a scrap piece of card or paper and have a go at creating different patterns using the melted glue from the glue gun. Although it is great to get stuck in, sometimes it’s nice to see what will work well before applying it to the actual final piece 2. Once you have decided on a pattern, apply this to the body of the tree topper. Allow this to cool before painting. There are lots of different ways to decorate the tree topper. These 2 tree toppers show what they can look like if you are very precise and careful with a glue gun, but also what it can look like if you get messy with a glue gun. Both look very effective! 3. Apply the acrylic paint using a paintbrush to all of the tree topper. Allow this to dry and then repeat this step until the tree topper has been well covered. IMG_2176EDIT IMG_2168EDIT 4. Now it’s time for a little sparkle! Apply mod podge glue to the desired area and then shake the glitter over the top of this and leave to dry. To get the best results with glitter, apply a second layer of glue and glitter and then leave to dry. IMG_2226EDIT IMG_2216EDIT
