Squishies are so much fun to play with! Why not try to make your own Halloween design using Soft Toy Stuffing and Duck Tape? It’s so easy – follow along with the below tutorial to find out what techniques you can use to create a cute pumpkin and spooky ghost!

You Will Need Craft Essentials

How to Make a Pumpkin Squishy

1. Stuff the cello bag using the soft toy filling – make sure to put quite a bit in to ensure that the squishy is substantial enough to wrap up.

2. Secure the cello bag using the adhesive strip at the top

3. Tape down all four top corners of the bag to give the ghost body a rounded top.

4. Using Orange Duck Tape, begin taping the body of the pumpkin. Go strip by strip, cutting and securing the tape neatly in rows.

Top tip! Go slowly when applying the Duck Tape to avoid creases and air pockets.

5. Cut a small amount of Black Duck Tape and cut again into two long strips. Use these strips to pinch the top of one side of the pumpkin and wrap around to make a stalk.

6. Draw two chevrons for cute eyes, and add a happy mouth underneath with two pointed teeth!

7. For an extra squishy pumpkin, get an adult to help you perforate the edges of the squishy using a needle. Poke lots of holes in through the Duck Tape layers and the cello bag.
