How to Make Coloured Flags
Get the kids celebrating all sorts of events with some simple coloured flags that they can make themselves, and will enjoy waving around – whether it’s to sports day in the garden, or at a birthday party!
1. Paint the dowel a nice bright colour and leave to dry.
2. Draw two triangles (about 12cm wide) onto contrasting pieces of card and cut out. On one of the triangles, add a tab to the end to be attached to the dowel. You can use the perforated edge of the basics card pack for this.
3. Put double sided tape along the inside edges of the paper. Fold up the tab and place the dowel against it, then press the two triangles together.
