How to Make a Valentine’s Day Photo Frame Card

Follow this tutorial and learn how to make a striking Valentine’s Day photo frame card to house a photograph of you and your recipient! The new Dovecraft ‘Hearts & Crosses’ collection » has tonnes of sticker and paper packs to help you create gorgeous love themed designs.

You Will Need Craft Essentials How to Make

1. Print photo slightly larger than photo frame aperture.

2. Adhere photo to back of frame using double sided tape.

3. Trim a piece of peachy pink plain paper from the Dovecraft Hearts & Crosses 6 “ x 6 “ Plain Paper Pack to 4 “ x 6 “.

4. Trim a piece of ticket patterned paper from the Dovecraft Hearts & Crosses 6 “ x 6 “ Patterned Paper Pack to 3.5 “ x 5.5 “.


5. Adhere the plain paper to a 5 “ x 7 “ white card blank and adhere the patterned paper piece on top.

6. Mount the photo frame on foam pads and position in the top portion of the card.

7. Type ‘I love you’ on smooth white cardstock and trim into a strip.

Top Tip! Handwrite or print the sentiment in a typewriter font if you don’t have a typewriter.

8. Adhere the sentiment strip to the bottom of the photo frame with double sided tape.

9. Finally add self-adhesive heart shaped gems to the bottom left, top right and next to the sentiment strip.
