- Large mache zigzag egg »
- White paint »
- Egg coloured acrylic paint »
- Flower garland » or fresh flowers (optional)
- Egg picks »
- Dry oasis »
1. Paint the mache egg inside and out with the white paint.
2. Paint the outside in the egg coloured acrylic paint. Then paint a zigzag pattern onto the egg using the white paint.
3. Glue dry oasis into the painted egg.
4. Create a floral display in the egg by cutting off sections of the floral garland into different lengths and pushing the stems into the dry oasis. Insert egg picks into this as well.
Top Tip!…Start the flower display with the shorter stems, bend them so that they drape over the top of the egg, then add a taller layer all the way around and towards the centre. Put the egg picks in last.
Top Tip!…If you prefer fresh flowers, follow step 4 using real flowers instead.
