You Will Need Abbreviations

Seed Stitch: in the round
Working across an odd number of stitches, *K1, P1; repeat from * until the piece measures the
required length

How To Make

1. Using two strands of Colour A, cast on 61 sts using the long-tail cast on technique. Join
your stitches in the round, taking care not to twist the cast on edge. You may wish to
wind your yarn into two even sized balls or cakes first (like I have), or work from both the
centre pull and outside of the yarn skein at the same time.
2. Using two strands of Colour A, work in seed stitch in the round for 9 rounds. Cut one
strand of Colour A, leaving a 15cm yarn tail.
3. Tie one strand of Colour B to the yarn tail of Colour A. Using one strand of Colour A and
one strand of Colour B, work in seed stitch in the round for 9 rounds. Cut Colour A,
leaving a 15cm yarn tail.
4. Tie one strand of Colour B to the yarn tail of Colour A. Using two strands of Colour B,
work in seed stitch in the round for 9 rounds. Cut one strand of Colour B, leaving a 15cm
yarn tail.
5. Tie one strand of Colour C to the yarn tail of Colour B. Using one strand of Colour B and
one strand of Colour C, work in seed stitch in the round for 9 rounds. Cut Colour B,
leaving a 15cm yarn tail.
6. Tie one strand of Colour C to the yarn tail of Colour B. Using two strands of Colour C,
work in seed stitch in the round for 9 rounds.
7. Cast off loosely. Weave in all ends.
