How to Crochet a Prism Pom Pom Dress

Designed by @hellomooncrochet this fun little dress is made using Knitcraft cotton blend making it perfect for the summer. It features the moss stitch to create a solid yet breathable fabric that still has a nice drape. Hayley has added bright rainbow theme pom poms and trim, this could be adapted to create lots of fun and individual looks and can be made with or without the 2 front pockets. Worked in the round from the top down, recommend using a stitch marker to make the beginning of each rows

Fasten off and weave in ends

Go back to the pocket gaps and join blue yarn and dc in each st and ch around, join and fasten off. Turn the work inside out and join white yarn to one edge of the pocket trim. Working along one edge and in back loops only, dc x 16, ch 1, dc x 16 (working through both loops) repeat until this piece measures approx. 3 inches long. Fold in half and ss to the remaining trim of the pocket working in the back loops only. Stitch along the 2 side edges of the pocket and weave in all the ends. Repeat on the other pocket

Alternatively, to make without the pockets simply continue the pattern after row 43, alternating between row 8 and 9 until reaching the desired length

Make 5 small poms poms in coral, yellow, green, blue and lilac. Tie then stitch on to the neckline of the dress
