  5. Round 4 – join next colour and work in the same way as previous rounds, with two groups of 3tr in the corner spaces and 1 group of 3tr in each of the side spaces, slst to top of ch to complete round and fasten off.
  6. For this stocking, you will need to make 19 Granny squares.
  7. To complete the stocking arrange the squares using the image as a guide, folding three squares in half for the top and bottom of the foot and the heel.
  8. Sew the squares together.

To Make the Cuff

  1. Using the cream wool/yarn, work 1 treble into each of the trebles and spaces along the top of the stocking. Turn, and work 3 more rows on these stitches.
  2. Fasten off.

To Make the Loop

  1. Make about 25ch (or more to get to your desired length), 1dc into 2nd ch from hook and in each of remaining ch. Fasten off, leaving enough wool to attach loop to stocking. Sew to top of stocking.
