Your Cricut Explore Noel Banner
Create a beautiful Noel banner to celebrate the festive season using the Cricut Explore One and its on-line software, Design Space. With the precision cutting capabilities of the Explore One machine, you can make the banner from paper products, vinyl, iron-on vinyl, acetate, poster board or fabric, to name a few of the 50+ materials pre-set in the software.
You can make more pennants and change the wording to display your own choice of festive greeting. If it hangs across a doorway, you could embellish both sides of the pennant.

Connect the Cricut Explore One to the pc/laptop/Mac, log into your Design Space account. From the categories menu, select ‘Free for Explore One’. Search for and select the ‘Noel Banner’.
The project creates pennants measuring 5.3” wide and 9.5” high. To change the dimensions, click ‘customise’, otherwise click ‘Make It Now’.
The images can be resized by first highlighting the image and then dragging the corner point: the size appears in a black text box as the image is altered: or applying a known measurement into the ‘Edit’ window.
Top Tip! ‘Group’ the individual images to allow the whole set to be resized proportionally. ‘Ungroup’ the image to make any changes to the individual images.
Stabilise each piece of fabric using Heat n Bond ultra or lite. Cut the images from fabric, using the scraper tool to apply the pieces to the cutting mat to ensure good contact. Carefully remove the cut images from the mat using the spatula.
Cut the ‘NOEL’ from glitter gold iron-on vinyl, remembering to mirror image the letters on the preview screen.
Carefully glue the fabric layers together using a hot glue gun and glue sticks. Following the package instructions, iron the gold lettering on to the pennants.
Thread the pennants on to gold ribbon and embellish with gold buttons.
