The Knit List – December

It’s finally here! December has landed and we couldn’t be anymore excited at knitcraft hq! We have been super busy creating festive makes to share with you this December. We would love to see what you are making so please share using #SYKCXmas and you could be in with a chance of winning some knitty prizes!

The Knit List

West Yorkshire Spinners

We have been loving the WYS yarn since it landed earlier in the year but they have got even better and created a Christmas sock pattern which is free to download on the website! It is a really cute pattern complete with holly and it is on the top of everyone’s wish list.

Check it out now and for the first week of December all WYS yarn is 3 for 2!

Katie Jones Live in Piccadilly Circus

At the beginning of December we were lucky enough to take part in a live knitalong with Katie Jones in the middle of Piccadilly Circus underground station. She has designed a Christmas stocking and was there to teach everyone how to cast on and get started. It was a great event and nice to see so many people interested in knitting!

Sincerely Louise Mystical Party

We also got to attend the Mystical Party held by Sincerely Louise. She wanted to celebrate her Etsy award and so invited knitters to get together for the evening. There were knitting and brooch making workshops and everyone received a lovely goodie bag. It was really good to see all of Louise’s makes up close and to meet other people that also love her kits.

Christmas Makes

We have been knitting and crocheting like crazy to get together a extra festive advent calendar for you all. Each day we will be sharing a new Christmas make for you to try out. Projects range from stockings and Christmas tree skirts to smaller projects such as mini Santa hats to top off your homemade jams. We would really like to see what you are making so please share your projects with us by using #SYKCXmas
