Give a warm welcome this Spring with a cheerfully pastel pom pom wreath. The pom pom trend is still going strong for 2016, and I for one am super-happy about this! After all, almost everything looks better with a fluffy pom pom – don’t you agree?
This wreath is also a great way of using up any wool or yarn that you’ve got leftover from other projects, or that’s gathering dust at the back of the cupboard, just longing to be used!
I originally made a pom pom wreath for Christmas » – which you loved so much that we made it into the video tutorial below. Just switch red and green for Spring brights!
How to Make a Spring Pom Pom Wreath
Suitable for : Beginners
Time to make : Three to four hours
How to Make
- Choose the colour combination of pom poms you would like to cover your wreath. I have used a mixture of pastel coloured yarns.
- Start to make your poms using the Clover pom pom makers. I have used all four of the makers to give the wreath a variety of different sized poms.
- Using a glue gun, stick the poms firmly to the polystyrene wreath. I started by sticking the largest poms down first and arranging the smaller poms around them.
- Continue until the wreath base is completely covered.
