Add an extra personal touch to your picnic sandwiches by making your own sandwich picks with leftover pieces of craft paper.

Sandwich Flag Picks

Time to make: 10 minutes each

Skill level: Beginner

What you need

How to make

  1. With your chosen scrapbooking papers cut out a rectangle shape roughly 6 centimetre in length by 1.5 centimetres in height.
  2. With your scissors cut a ‘V’ shape on one of the short ends of the flag.
  3. Using a pen write out your greeting onto the flag. Dependent on the length of the text the flag can then be cut to length as desired.
  4. With the glue gun put a blob of glue on the straight edge end of the flag and push the tooth pick down into the glue and hold in place for around 20 seconds until set. Leave to dry for around a minute to allow the glue to set completely.

Hobbycraft Content Marketing Assistant, I'm in love with all things craft, vintage and floral. I spend my spare time visiting craft fairs in the south on the look out for something that's a little bit different. When not out exploring by foot I'm on my bike riding around the country side or down by the beach.
