Cut your chosen number of flags from the fabrics using the pinking shears. Set aside. Cut a length of cord.
Iron Heat ‘n’ Bond onto the reverse of the fabrics chosen for the lettering according to the pack instructions.
Using a pencil, draw letters onto the Heat ‘n’ Bond paper backing and cut out. Remember to draw your letters in reverse.
Remove the backing paper from the letters, position the letters on the flags and iron in place.
Cut a 1cm strip of Heat ‘n’ Bond the same width as each flag and iron onto the top edge on the reverse. Peel off the backing, fold the edge over the cord and iron down so that the flag is held in place on the cord but can still slide along its length. Add all the flags in this way.
Hobbycraft Content Marketing Assistant, I'm in love with all things craft, vintage and floral. I spend my spare time visiting craft fairs in the south on the look out for something that's a little bit different. When not out exploring by foot I'm on my bike riding around the country side or down by the beach.
