Need something to keep the kids entertained for a couple of hours? Why not try this super easy peg doll mermaid with her long flowing locks and super sparkly tail.

You only need seven components for this make and you may find that you already have some of them dotted around the house . . .

How to Make a Peg Doll Mermaid

Time to make : 45 minutes, plus drying time

You Will Need

  1. Cut strands of yarn and glue to the top of the dolly peg for hair.
  2. Cut a mermaid shape tail from foam, coat with glue and then cover with glitter. When dry, stick the tail to the front of the peg.
  3. Cut a five centimetre strip of ribbon and glue around the top of peg to make the mermaids top.
  4. Draw the mermaids face with coloured pens, drawing two black dots for eyes and a red dot for the mouth.
