Excellent Easter Bonnet Ideas

As it’s just around the corner, I’ve decided to post my favourite Easter bonnet ideas for everyone that may be in need of inspiration. What better way to spend an afternoon than making your own Easter bonnet in preparation for the big day- with the all important Easter egg hunt or Spring parade?

Easter bonnets don’t have to be your conventional hat-shape either. One simple solution is to cover a bonnet in raffia, paint some mache eggs and then stick them to a bonnet with some chicks and felt flowers – for something a little bit different.

Did you know?

Easter parades started in the 1870s, when the social elite would show off their new Easter hats and bonnets before attending church on Easter Sunday.

We’ve been busy perusing Pinterest for some great inspiration for bonnets that aren’t just for children . . .

Hobbycraft Inspirational Content Marketing Assistant, I'm in love with all things craft, vintage and floral. I spend my spare time visiting craft fairs in the south on the look out for something that's a little bit different. When not out exploring by foot I'm on my bike riding around the country side or down by the beach.
