  • Enlarge the templates of the bird, wing and pointy flower by 200%. Cut out two bird pieces and sew together, using blanket stitch.
  • Cut out one blue felt wing and one lavender felt flower. Place them on the bird with a pink flower button on top, and sew together.
  • To make the birdÉs legs, cut a 6cm length of pink ribbon, fold in half, and sew to the back of the bird.
  • For the beak: Cut a small triangle of yellow felt and stitch to the birdÉs face.
  • For the birdÉs eye, stick a green adhesive gemstone to the centre of the pink button and glue in place.
  • Stitch a bar brooch to the back of the bird to complete, then pin him on his jewellery-holder perch!

Hobbycraft Inspirational Content Marketing Assistant, I'm in love with all things craft, vintage and floral. I spend my spare time visiting craft fairs in the south on the look out for something that's a little bit different. When not out exploring by foot I'm on my bike riding around the country side or down by the beach.
